Francis Bacon
(28 October 1909 – 28 April 1992) was an Irish-born British figurative painter known emotional imagery. Bacon's figures typically appear isolated in glass or steel.Bacon usally painted head and shoulder portraits, More often than not in these paintings there is little to almost no ephisis on the background behind the figure. His Iconic distorted faces create an distressed atmoshphere among all his work.
